About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead all non-investment functions as we scale toward institutional size. You will build and manage operations, oversee technology infrastructure, and ensure the firm has the operational excellence required to support $500M+ in AUM.
Responsabilities
• Oversee all operational functions including trading operations, compliance, and technology
• Build and lead high-performing operations and technology teams
• Develop operational infrastructure to support institutional investor requirements
• Manage relationships with prime brokers, administrators, custodians, and vendors
• Implement operational risk management framework and controls
• Lead operational due diligence processes with institutional investors
• Drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements across the firm
• Serve as key member of executive team and participate in strategic planning
Requirements
• 12+ years of experience in hedge fund operations with 5+ years in senior leadership
• Track record of building operational infrastructure during rapid AUM growth
• Deep understanding of quantitative trading operations and technology
• Experience managing institutional investor relationships and requirements
• Strong leadership skills with ability to build and develop teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
