About the role
We are looking for a versatile Operations & Compliance Associate to establish and manage the operational foundation of our fund. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to build operational processes from scratch while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsabilities
Establish and manage day-to-day fund operations including trade reconciliation and settlement
Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation
Coordinate with prime brokers, custodians, and administrators
Monitor trading activity for compliance with internal policies and regulations
Manage investor onboarding, KYC/AML processes, and subscription documents
Prepare regulatory filings and maintain compliance calendar
Support audit processes and maintain accurate books and records
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in hedge fund operations or compliance
• Strong understanding of SEC, CFTC, and NFA regulations
• Experience with fund administration and prime brokerage relationships
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with portfolio management systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Series 3 or willingness to obtain within 6 months
